Today we are at a crossroads, where most nation-states have not enforced laws outlawing bribery by foreign corporations, or money laundering by major banks. Across the globe whistleblowers, who are key to detecting corruption, are left unprotected. Countries that have historically played a leading role in prosecuting AML and bribery are stepping back. Years of progress in fighting corruption are at risk.
